Who We Are

The Notso Amazon Softball League (NASL) was founded in 1983. We are a not for profit organization that provides sports and recreation in the Greater Toronto Area. 

We are a community-centered recreational softball league created by and for queer women. Our league is a welcoming space for lesbians, bisexual women, and all queer-identified women, as well as trans and non-binary folks of all skill levels. We understand “trans” to be a broad and inclusive term, and we invite all members of the trans community—binary and non-binary, including genderqueer, genderfluid, intersex, and Two-Spirit individuals—to join us. While we value inclusivity, this league is not a space for cisgender men. We recognize that cis men have access to many other recreational spaces, and this league is intentionally designed as a space where queer women, trans, and non-binary players can participate without that dynamic.
